About the Banquets
The Banquets comprise a series of mediations on every aspect of human living and dying. I consider these to be sacred texts given to me over a forty month period, addressed to me by a presence called the Hosahu.
The body of knowledge imparted in The Banquets comes in an unusual spiralling interrelated format, as well as a dialogue between us on some issues, and answers to direct questions I put to them. There are also numerous stories varying from the very short one page ones to entire texts.
The knowledge contained in The Banquets intersects with other channelled works. I believe some of this spiritual knowledge appears at this time in the work of human beings who are open to it. But where The Banquets diverge with other new age texts is in their immediacy and lyricism. The reader experiences a direct address and unfolding knowledge and although second hand, an experience of inspiration itself. Often when reading back over the texts, or editing the work I begin to feel light headed as the power of the word and more importantly what is underneath the word takes effect. Friends who have read some of the Banquets report the same experience, as the presence of this devoted group contacts us with infinite kindness.
The Banquets get straight to the point of our emotional and spiritual distress; our belief that we we are separated from god and cannot find our way home. But the Hosahu bring endless assurance that we can heal the sacred wounds of childhood, show us how to move from an ego based reality, how we can discover the transformational energy of god. They tell us where we go between lives, what happens when we die, how to give up on the traps of time as space. They bring us to other dimensions and in fact to the edge of the universe where we can fall in love with creation, ourselves, and all that is.
Having read extensively of the genre of new age literature, I feel the Banquets have a special refined compassion that the Hosahu create. A very powerful energy of unconditional love is available to the reader of The Banquets, triggering insights, connections and peace as the texts spiral deeply into the vastness of the world within.
Synopses of the texts
- Banquet 1 is an overview of the entire series which unfolds in greater depth in text after text. It deals with the main task of the individual, healing the sacred wounds of childhood, connecting with our soul, balancing the male female split, giving as well as receiving and discovering fulfilment. It takes us up to the point of death.
- Banquet 2 Reshaping Reality, uses a series of symbols to represent the movement from ego based reality, to the spirit based spiral of consciousness. This series of symbols represents the need to overthrow hierarchical models that exist in our world in favour of an open ended circle/spiral model.
- Banquet 3 The Blue Planet is set in a parallel time when all these changes in society and the individual have come about. It unfolds as a story with four characters deciding to hold a concert to raise the collective vibration on the Blue Planet.
- Banquet 4 Meeting your Hosts. In this Banquet the Hosahu continues to address us from the future and speak individually about themselves. They explain the energy of god as the transformational energy of godspin. Other themes are continued such as freedom, and going home to the god within.
- Banquet 5 The Life between lives, is about the contracts we forge with one another before incarnating, with a design for evolving our consciousness through the challenges and support of one another. We then agree to forget the plan. The end of the text tells the story of Jo a young man who commits suicide and we follow him in the last weeks of his life and through his transition. (29,300)
- Banquet 6 The Eighth Dimension is about a highly evolved society in another corner of the universe who live by 8 principals, honesty, trust, group consciousness, shared resources, generosity, symmetry, and creativity especially in music. Telepathy is their main method of communication and a story unfolds when a group of lesser evolved beings arrive with the intention of taking over.
- Banquet 7 Love makes a journey is about recognising god in one another, joining with others to create healing for the planet. A group of children called the crystal children have a big presence in this book. We are taken to the Crystal Planet where we behold earth and the changes taking place. (21,000)
- Banquet 8 Meditation on Death. This text is about life, death and life between lives as a seamless whole. We return to Zasfor to a senior citizen being guided through his dying and death.
- Banquet 9 Andromeda is a text on Christ consciousness as expressed on this far planet. It also explains why there is a special link between Earth and Andromeda and how we can use the particular light of Andromeda to evolve.
- Banquet 10 Transformation is the final text of the Banquet series and it explores the elements needed to live a simple and beautiful life.
